Ingredients

2/3 c. rolled oats
1 c. whole milk
1 t. salt
1/2 t. black pepper
3/4 t. dried marjoram
1/4 t. dried sage
1/2 t. dried thyme leaves
1/2 t. dried garlic powder
1/4 t. hot sauce
2 large eggs
1 c. onion, finely chopped
1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef

Topping:
1/2 c. ketchup
1/4 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
1 t. dried mustard
1/2 t. dried ginger
1/2 t. Liquid Smoke
dash of hot sauce

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a rimmed baking sheet with cooking spray.

In a large bowl, mix the first 11 ingredients until evenly blended. Add ground beef and mix until all the ingredients are well combined.

Mix all topping ingredients in a bowl. Set aside.

On the baking sheet , form the meat ingredients into a loaf. Pour half of the topping over the meatloaf. Brush the sauce over the top and sides in an even layer.

Bake meatloaf for 1 hour. Remove meatloaf from oven and brush the remainder of sauce over top and sides in an even layer, then return meatloaf to oven and cook for 15 minutes.

Allow meatloaf to cool for 10 minutes before cutting, then serve.
