1 9 inch deep dish pie crust
3 oz. cooked bacon pieces
1 c. Cheddar cheese, shredded
3 eggs
1/4 c. milk
1/4 c. heavy cream
1/2 c. Ranch dressing
Bacon: Use a baking sheet that has a rim and line it with foil. Place bacon slices in a single layer directly on the foil and do not to overlap slices. Turn the oven on and set to 400 degrees. Don't wait for the oven to preheat. Go ahead and place the pan in the oven.
Cook bacon for 12-17 minutes. Cooking time depends on the thickness of your bacon, and how long it takes for you oven to come to temperature. Start checking your bacon around 10 minutes so your bacon doesn’t burn. When the bacon is golden brown, the bacon is done.
Remove immediately and place on paper towels to soak up the bacon grease. Cut into bite sized pieces.
Quiche: Turn oven down to 375 degrees.
Place cooked bacon pieces in bottom of pie crust. Top with shredded cheese. Whisk together eggs, milk, and Ranch dressing. Pour over the bacon and cheese.
Bake for 40-50 minutes, until center is set and the quiche is lightly browned. Allow to cool for at least 5 minutes before serving.
