This is a tasty, simple and quick meal that can be made on a busy weeknight. Just combine all ingredients and cook for 20 to 25 minutes and your meal is complete.
1/2 lb. fully cooked, smoked sausage, sliced
3 c. (6 ounces) coleslaw mix
1/2 c. fresh or frozen chopped onion
1/2 c. sliced celery
1/2 t. caraway seed
2- 14.5 oz. cans chicken broth
1 medium red apple, unpeeled, cored, and cubed
In large saucepan over medium heat, cook sausage, coleslaw mix, onion, celery, and caraway seed, stirring frequently for 10 minutes or until vegetables are crisp-tender. Stir in broth and apple.
Cook uncovered, stirring occasionally, for 10 to 15 minutes until heated through.
