Description
Use this as a dip or as a cheesy topping on your favorite Mexican dishes. It is creamy, smooth and just spicy enough to make you keep wanting more.
Ingredients
- 1/2 lb. white American cheese, roughly chopped into 1 inch pieces
- 2 T. chopped green chiles, frozen or canned
- 1 T. pickled jalapeno slices, finely diced
- 1 T. juice from the pickled jalapenos
- 1/3 c. milk
- 1/4 c. water
- dash cumin
Steps
- Combine all ingredients in a medium sized glass bowl. Microwave for 5 minutes, stirring every minute.
- At first the dip will be watery, but thickens as it finishes cooking. Serve it hot, over taco salads, chimichangas, enchiladas, or anything Mexican, or just use as a dip with your favorite chips or veggies.
