Description
Enjoy beef stroganoff with round steak, mushrooms, onion, Dijon served on a bed of rice or egg noodles. Top with dried dill to make the flavors pop! It would be good served with mashed potatoes as well.
Ingredients
- 1lb. round top steak, trimmed and cut into 1/4-inch thick slices
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 2 T. fresh parsley
- 2 T. Dijon mustard
- 1/2 t. salt
- 1/2 t. dried dill
- 1/2 t. black pepper
- 8 oz. sliced mushrooms, about 2 c.
- 2 t. Worcestershire sauce
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/3 c. flour
- 1 c. beef broth
- 2 T. cream cheese
- 8 oz. sour cream
Steps
- Place a slow cooker liner in the base of the crock for easy clean up.
- Place steak, onion, parsley, mustard, salt, dill, pepper,mushrooms, and garlic into the slow cooker. Stir well.
- In a small bowl combine flour, Worcestershire, and broth, whisking until well blended.
