What could be better than a chicken stroganoff with country gravy over egg noodles? Nothing! What makes it even better is that it is made in the crockpot. It is so easy!
Ingredients
- 4 - 5 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1- 10.5 oz. can cream of mushroom soup
- 1- 8 oz. package cream cheese
- 1-2.75 oz. packet country gravy mix
- 2-21/2 c. chicken broth or chicken stock
- 16 oz. sour cream
- egg noodles
- salt and pepper, to taste
Steps
- Line crockpot with a crockpot liner for easy clean up and then spray the liner with non-stick cooking spray.
- Add chicken breasts and top with cream of mushroom soup. Cut cream cheese into cubes and add to chicken. Mix country gravy mix from packet with the chicken broth. Stir. Add it to the soup and cream cheese mixture. Add salt, pepper to taste. Stir.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours. (8 hours if the chicken was frozen.)
