In no time at all and with a few ingredients, you can have this wonderful chicken dish. Most of the ingredients are probably in your pantry already.
4-6 boneless skinless chicken breasts
6-8 slices Swiss or Mozzarella cheese
½ c. mayonnaise
½ c. sour cream
¾ c. grated Parmesan Cheese, divided
½ t. salt
½ t. pepper
1 t. garlic powder
cooked rice, optional
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Grease a 9x13 inch pan or baking dish.
Pat chicken dry and place in pan. Add sliced cheese on top of chicken breasts.
In a bowl, mix mayonnaise, sour cream, ½ c. Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper and garlic powder. Spread over chicken and sprinkle with remaining Parmesan cheese.
Bake 1 hour.
Serve over rice, if desired.
