Pizza Spaghetti Casserole

Description

If you can't decide between pizza or spaghetti for dinner, why not have both? In under an hour you can have a dinner on the table that everyone will love.

Ingredients

1 lb. ground meat, like beef, pork or turkey
16 oz. box uncooked spaghetti pasta
½ t. salt
½ t. oregano
Italian seasoning, to taste
½ t. garlic powder
½ c. milk
1 egg
2 oz. sliced pepperoni
26 oz. pasta sauce
16 oz. can diced Italian style tomatoes
¼ c. grated Parmesan cheese
8 oz. pkg. shredded Italian cheese blend
other pizza toppings, like black or green olives, onions, green peppers, mushrooms, etc.

Boil salted water for pasta. When it starts boiling, add the spaghetti. Brown meat in a separate skillet. Drain.

When noodles are done, drain and place in a greased casserole dish.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

In a separate bowl, combine milk and egg; whisk.

Pour over pasta; add sauce, tomatoes, garlic powder, oregano and Italian seasonings. Mix all together well.

On the top of the pasta mixture, layer the cooked ground meat, then add a layer of pepperoni. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese and the Italian cheese. Add another layer of pepperoni.

Bake 30 minutes. Serve.
