If you need dinner in a hurry, make these yummy chicken breasts. They are coated in egg, spices and panko crumbs, fried quickly and then ready to eat.
1 lb. boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 egg
1 c. panko crumbs
1/2 t. sea salt
1/4 t. black pepper
1/2 t. garlic powder
1/2 t. onion powder
1/4 c. corn oil
Pound chicken breasts in a resealable Zip Lock bag, until about 1/2-inch thick.
Beat egg in a shallow bowl.
Combine panko crumbs, salt, pepper, garlic powder and onion powder in a separate shallow bowl.
Dip chicken in egg until coated on both sides, drip off excess and dip in panko mixture. Press chicken into crumbs until fully coated.
Heat oil in a large skillet on medium high heat. Transfer chicken to pan; cook about 2 - 3 minutes per side or until chicken is brown, crispy and fully cooked.
