This French toast is so good, you will want it for breakfast, lunch and dinner. In minutes, you can sit down and eat the best French toast ever.
2 eggs
1/2 c. 2% milk
1 T. sugar
1 t. vanilla extract
pinch of salt
6 slices day-old bread
butter, maple syrup, powdered sugar or cinnamon-sugar
In a shallow bowl, beat the eggs; add the milk, sugar, vanilla and salt. Soak bread for 30 seconds on each side.
Cook on a greased hot griddle until golden brown on both sides and cooked through.
Serve with butter, syrup, powdered sugar or cinnamon-sugar.
