Have a little slice of heaven with this quiche. It's a pie crust filled with bacon, 2 cheeses, eggs and half-and-half and onion, if you want it.
1 refrigerated pie crust, softened as directed on package
1 c. half-and-half or milk
4 eggs, lightly beaten
1/4 t. salt
1/4 t. pepper
8 slices bacon, crisply cooked, crumbled
1 c. shredded Swiss or Cheddar cheese (4 oz.)
1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
1 T. chopped onion, optional
Heat oven to 350 degrees.
Place pie crust in 9 inch glass pie plate as directed on box for a One Crust Filled Pie.
In a medium bowl, mix the half-and-half, eggs, salt and pepper; set aside. Layer bacon, cheeses and onion, if using in the crust-lined plate. Pour egg mixture over the top.
Bake 40 - 50 minutes or until a knife inserted in center comes out clean. Let stand 5 minutes; cut into wedges.
Serve hot.
