Description
It's so much easier and better for you when you bake your meatballs as opposed to frying them. Use a mixture of ground meats or just ground beef, if you prefer.
Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef, ground pork, ground veal mixture
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1⁄2 c. milk
- 1⁄2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 c. Panko breadcrumbs or regular breadcrumbs
- 1 small onion, grated
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1⁄2 t. oregano
- 1 t. salt
- freshly ground black pepper
- 1⁄4 c. minced fresh basil
Steps
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a baking sheet.
- Mix all ingredients. Grate onion with a hand grater directly over the bowl to catch all of the wonderful juices. Form into golfball sized meatballs.
- Bake 30 minutes.
