Description
There is no need to pat out mini sliders anymore. Just place the meat mixure in a baking pan, top with cheese, bake and cut into dollar sized portions. It's that easy and it's great for company!
Ingredients
- 2 lb. 93% lean ground sirloin
- 1/4 c. seasoned bread crumbs
- 1 small onion, grated with juices or finely diced
- 1/2 t. onion powder
- 1/2 t. salt
- 1/4 t. freshly ground black pepper
- 9-15 dollar or dinner rolls
- 6-8 slices Cheddar, American or your favorite cheese
Steps
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- In a medium bowl, combine ground sirloin, bread crumbs, onion, onion powder, and salt. (Grate the onion over the bowl to catch all of the juices which contain lots of flavor. This is great for people who don't like onion chunks, as well.)
- Evenly spread beef mixture in a 9 x 13 x 2 baking dish. Gently press the meat mixture so that it is one large patty of even thickness. Use a fork to poke holes throughout the meat.
