Description
This meal is so simple to make. The sirloin tips turn out tender and the gravy has a delicious flavor. Serve with noodles, rice or mashed potatoes.
Ingredients
- 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 t. salt
- 1/8 t. pepper
- 4 lb. beef sirloin tips
- 1/2 c. chopped green onions
- 1/2 lb. sliced fresh mushrooms, cleaned
- 10.5 oz. condensed beef broth or stock
- 1 t. Worcestershire sauce
- 2 t. tomato paste or ketchup
- 1/4 c. dry red wine or water
- 3 T. all-purpose flour
- hot buttered egg noodles
Steps
- Line a crock-pot with a crock-pot liner for easy clean up.
- Combine the flour with the salt and pepper; toss with beef cubes to coat thoroughly. Place in the crock-pot; add green onions and drained mushrooms.
- Combine beef broth/stock, Worcestershire sauce and tomato paste or ketchup. Pour over beef and veggies; stir well.
