Description
These tasty meatballs would be great with spaghetti or egg noodles, on a sandwich or all by themselves.
Ingredients
- 1 lb. lean ground beef or ground turkey
- 1/2 c. Italian seasoned breadcrumbs
- 2 eggs, lightly beaten
- 1/3 c. onion, finely chopped or grated with juices
- 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese, grated
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/4 t. salt
- 1/4 t. black pepper
- sauce:
- 12 oz. light-colored beer, such as lager
- 1 1/2 c. tomato sauce
- 1 c. ketchup
- 2 T. tomato paste
- 1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
Steps
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line the broiler pan with foil and spray rack with non-stick cooking spray.
- Combine all meatball ingredients together in a large bowl; shape into 1 inch meatballs.
- Place meatballs on the lined broiling rack. Bake 10 minutes or until browned.
