Quiche always makes a great option for breakfast or brunch, but it is great as a dinner optional as well. Serve with toast, hash browns or fried potatoes, if you would like.
6 eggs
1 c. heavy cream
1/2 t. Kosher salt
1/8- 1/4 t. freshly ground black pepper
8-12 bacon slices, cooked and crumbled
1 1/2 c. shredded cheese blend, your favorite
One prepared pie crust, store-bought works fine
Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
Whisk together eggs, cream, salt, and pepper.
Place pie crust in a round 9 inch pan or deep dish pie plate. Prick crust with a fork several times.
Sprinkle crumbled bacon across bottom of pie crust; cover with cheese. Pour egg mixture over cheese.
Bake 15 minutes at 425 degrees; rduce heat to 300 degrees; bake another 30-40 minutes, unti quiche is puffy and lightly browned.
Cool 5-10 minutes before serving.
