Description

This warm sandwich will hit the spot on those cold winter days. They are quick and easy to make. Serve with a dill pickle and some chips.

Ingredients

  • 10.5 oz. can beef consomme
  • 1 c. water
  • 1 lb. thinly sliced deli roast beef
  • 8 slices provolone cheese
  • 4 hoagie rolls, split lengthwise

Steps

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Slice open the hoagie rolls and lay out on a baking sheet.
  3. Heat beef consomme and water in a medium saucepan over medium-high heat to make a rich beef broth.
