Enjoy these mouth watering Thai Sweet Chili Chicken Wings as an appetizer or as your main dish. Theey are pan-fried with garlic, and have sweet chili sauce, Sriracha and a few shakes of roasted sesame seeds.
6 (1 lb.) chicken wings
sea salt
freshly ground black pepper, to taste
1 T. rice flour
2 T. peanut oil
5 cloves garlic, whole
2 t. roasted sesame seeds
sauce:
¼ c. Thai sweet chili sauce
2 T. Sriracha
Cut off the wing tips and discard. Divide each wing into two joints.
Rub the chicken pieces with, salt and pepper; toss with rice flour.
Smash garlic cloves without peeling them.
Heat oil in skillet; add the chicken and garlic cloves. Fry until chicken is golden; add the sauce, stir, add in the sesame seeds until well coated and sticky.
