Description
You get home cooked goodness with this great dish. It's simple and tastes like you have slaved in the kitchen for hours.
Ingredients
- 6 oz. mushrooms, wiped off and sliced
- 1/2 onion, sliced
- 1 1/2 c. beef stock or broth
- 1 oz. package dry brown gravy mix
- 2 T. ketchup
- 1 t. Dijon mustard
- 2 T. fresh parsley
- 1/2- 1 green or red bell pepper, sliced and seeds removed, optional
- 2 T. corn starch
- 4 T. cold water
- meat patties:
- 1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef
- 1 egg yolk
- ¼ c. minced or grated onion
- ⅓ c. Panko bread crumbs
- 3 T. milk
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- salt, to taste
- pepper, to taste
Steps
- Line a slow cooker with a slow cooker liner for easy clean up. Spray liner with non-stick cooking spray.
- Place the mushrooms and onions (and bell pepper, if using) in the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Combine meat patty ingredients; form 6 patties.; brown over medium high heat in a greased skillet about 3 minutes per side.
