Description
You won't know whether to use a fork or a spoon when you eat this delicious breakfast. Serve with toast to help you soak up all of that delicious egg goodness. It would make a great lunch or dinner, as well!
Ingredients
- 1 cup marinara sauce, your favorite
- 4 large eggs
- 1/4 c. regular, fat free or lowfat milk
- 1/4 c. shredded Gruyere cheese
- 2 T. grated Parmesan cheese
- kosher salt, to taste
- freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- 1/4 c. basil leaves, chiffonade or Italian seasoning or dried basil, to taste
Steps
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Lightly grease two 10 oz. ramekins.
- Divide marinara sauce evenly into the 2 ramekins. Evenly top with eggs, milk, Gruyere and Parmesan cheeses; season with salt and pepper, to taste.
- Bake until egg whites are cooked through, about 10 minutes.
