This slow cooker dish can be made with things you probably have on hand. Throw it all together in the morning and by dinnertime, you will have a delicious main dish. Serve it with rice and a veggie.
4 skinless, boneless chicken thighs
1/2 c. soy sauce, light or regular
1/2 c. ketchup
1/3 c. honey
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 t. dried basil
Wash chicken and pat dry with paper towels.
Place a slow cooker liner in the base of a 4 quart slow cooker for easy clean up.
Lay chicken thighs into the bottom of the slow cooker.
Whisk soy sauce, ketchup, honey, garlic, and basil together in a bowl; pour over the chicken.
If a thicker sauce is desired, mix in a little cornstarch after chicken is cooked. Place chicken on a platter, mix in the cornstarch, stir, cook on HIGH until thickened.
Cook on LOW 6 hours.
