Not much time to cook a delicious meal? Well, that is just an excuse, because you have time to cook this wonderful dish. In under 30 minutes, you will have a creamy pasta dish that everyone will think you slaved over the stove to cook.
Ingredients
- 1/2 lb. pasta, your favorite
- 2 T. finely chopped chives
- 1/2 c. cream or heavy cream
- 1/2 c. freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 t. olive oil
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 lb. bacon, crisply fried and crumbled
- salt, to taste
- freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Steps
- In a large bowl, mix eggs, cream, Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper and olive oil in a bowl; set aside.
- In a large skillet, cook bacon until just crisp; crumble; set aside.
- Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain pasta; while pasta is piping hot, add egg / cream sauce into pasta; stir over low heat 1- 2 minutes until fully incorporated.
