These delicious chicken drumsticks are baked, not fried! They come out crispy on the outside, but tender and juicy on the inside and have a yummy flavor.
6 chicken drumsticks
¼ c. olive oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/2- 1 T. smoked paprika, or to taste
red pepper flakes, to taste
2 T. fresh parsley, chopped
1 T. fresh oregano, chopped
salt, to taste
freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
Wash chicken and pat dry with paper towels. Season with salt and pepper. Set aside.
In a small skillet, heat the olive oil; add garlic, smoked paprika, red pepper flakes and herbs. Cook about 1 minute over medium heat, being careful to not burn the garlic.
Pour olive oil mixture over the chicken, making sure the drumsticks are coated thoroughly.
Place chicken in a 9 x 13 baking dish; bake about 45 minutes or until legs are cooked throughly.
