Description

Make a delicious, meatless meal with the salmon burgers. They are so quick and easy to make. They are healthy and a great source of calcium and Omega-3 fatty acids.

Ingredients

14.75 oz. can Chicken of the Sea Traditional Style Red Salmon
1 c. seasoned breadcrumbs
1/2 c. finely chopped onion
2 t. freshly squeezed lemon juice
1 T. freshly chopped parsley
1/4 t. garlic salt
2 eggs, beaten
3 T. mayonnaise or salad dressing
1-2 T. vegetable oil
8 hamburger buns
favorite toppings: lettuce, tomato, pickles, red onion slices, etc.

Drain and flake salmon.

In a medium bowl, combine salmon, breadcrumbs, onion, mayonnaise, egg, lemon juice, parsley and garlic salt; blend well.

Shape into 8 burgers. Salmon mixture will be moist.

In large skillet, heat oil; cook burgers over medium heat until both sides are brown.

Serve on hamburger buns with your favorite toppings.

8 servings

** Serve with a remoulade sauce to make them extra special.
