These pork chops have a great flavor and are quick to make on a busy night. Serve with your favorite sides.
1 T. vegetable or canola oil
4 pork chops ( about 1/2 inch thick)
1 c. Coca-Cola
1 c. ketchup
salt and pepper, to taste
Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the pork chops and cook, turning once, until browned on both sides, 5 - 6 minutes.
Stir together the ketchup and Coca-Cola in a small bowl; pour the sauce over the pork chops, turning the chops to coat. Bring the sauce to a simmer; reduce heat to low; cook until the pork chops are no longer pink in the center and the sauce has thickened, about 15 minutes.
Serve with the sauce spooned over them.
