Description
This will quickly become a family favorite. It is super easy and quick to make. Serve with rice and your favorite vegetable.
Ingredients
- Sauce:
- 1/2 c. soy sauce
- 1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 t. grated fresh ginger
- 2 t. vegetable oil
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 lb. flank steak, thinly sliced across the grain
- 1/4 c. cornstarch
- 1/2 c. vegetable oil
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced
- sesame seeds, if desired
Steps
- Sauce:
- In a medium bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, vegetable oil and 1/2 c. water. Heat soy sauce mixture in a medium saucepan until slightly thickened, about 5-10 minutes; set aside.
- In a large bowl, combine flank steak and cornstarch.
