Description
If you haven't experienced a Shake Shack burger, you don't have to miss out anymore. The classic burgers are wonderful and delicious and now you don't have to wait in any line to enjoy them.
Ingredients
- Shake Shack sauce:
- 1/2 c. mayonnaise
- 1 T. ketchup
- 1 T. yellow mustard
- 4 slices kosher dill pickles
- 1/4 t. garlic powder
- 1/4 t. paprika
- pinch cayenne pepper
- Burgers:
- 8 oz. ground beef sirloin
- 4 oz. ground beef chuck
- 4 oz. ground beef brisket
- 2 T. butter, at room temperature
- 4 potato burger buns
- 4 T. Shake Shack sauce
- 4 leaves green-leaf lettuce
- 8 slices ripe plum tomatoes
- 1/2 t. vegetable oil
- kosher salt
- freshly ground black pepper
- 4 slices yellow American cheese
Steps
- Combine mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, pickles, garlic powder, paprika, and cayenne pepper in a food processor; process until smooth. Transfer to a squeeze bottle. Yield: about 3/4 c. Shake Shack sauce.
- Gently mix together sirloin, chuck, and brisket in a mixing bowl until just combined. Form into 4 patties, each about 2 inches tall and 2 1/2 inches wide. Refrigerate until ready to cook.
- Split open buns; spread with a thin coating of butter; toast in a skillet until brown, about 1 minute. Using the squirt bottle, drizzle about 1 T. Shake Shack sauce on inside of each of the top halves of all buns. Place 1 lettuce leaf and 2 tomato slices on top half of each bun.
