This is a very simple dinner to make and can be ready in less than an hour. It's a delicious dinner that the whole family will love. Serve with a side salad.
1 1⁄2-2 lb. lean ground beef or ground turkey
16 - 32 oz. container sour cream
16 oz. spaghetti sauce, your choice
1 onion, chopped or minced
2-3 garlic cloves, minced
8 oz. package crescent rolls
Parmesan cheese, grated
8 -12 oz. Cheddar cheese, sliced or shredded
seasonings, to taste (salt, black pepper, Italian spices, oregano, thyme, parsley etc.)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 13 x 9 inch pan with non-stick cooking spray.
Brown ground meat; discard grease. Add spaghetti sauce, garlic, onion; and preferred seasonings; heat.
Place meat mixture in bottom of pan; layer sour cream over meat; spread the Cheddar cheese. Open the crescent rolls, pinch sides together, and layer over top. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
Bake for 30 minutes or until crescent rolls are light brown.
6-8 servings.
** Change it up with ground turkey, chili powder, fresh garlic, and Jamaican Jerk spice for a different taste.
