This meal is so delicious and easy to make. If you have never had it, it is a must try recipe. Don't knock it till you try it!
4 t. butter/margarine
1/8 c. all-purpose flour
1 c. milk
5 oz. can tuna, drained
salt, to taste
black pepper, to taste
toast or biscuits to serve it on
Melt butter in a medium size skillet, over medium heat. Add flour; whisk until all flour is covered in butter.
Add milk; whisk together will flour mixture; stir constantly. As soon as bubbles form around the edges, turn heat down to medium-low. Continue to stir as it thickens. There may be a few lumps of flour mixture, but that's alright because it'll all mix together in the end.
Add tuna; stir until combined; allow to thicken for 5 minutes. If it's is too thick for your taste, add 1/4 cup of milk a little at a time, until it's as thin or thick as you like it.
Add salt and pepper.
Serve over toast or biscuits or toast.
