8 oz. can crushed pineapples, in juice
1/2 c. low-sodium soy sauce
3 T. honey
1 T. freshly grated ginger
1 small garlic clove, minced
1 1/2 lb. chicken breasts, bone-in and skinless
1 lb. chicken thighs, bone-in and skinless
cooked rice
Wash chicken and pat dry with paper towels.
Place a slow cooker liner in the base of the slow cooker for easy clean up.
Put the crushed pineapple with its juice, soy sauce, honey, ginger and garlic in a large bowl; whisk to combine.
Place the chicken in the slow cooker; pour the sauce over and turn to coat the chicken.
Cook on Low 4 hours or on High 2 hours, or until chicken is cooked through.
Serve with cooked rice.
