Description

Ground chicken and turkey meatballs are so much healthier than ground beef meatballs. By using the perfect additions, they won't be tasteless or dry and are really delicious.

Ingredients

• 1 lb. ground chicken
• 1 egg, lightly beaten
• 1/4 c. roasted garlic
• light cream cheese
• 1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
• 1 T. dry bread crumbs
• 1/2 - 1 t. crushed red pepper flakes
• 1/2 - 1 T. Italian seasoning
• 1 T. garlic powder
• 1 1/2 T. vegetable oil
• 1 t. salt
• 1 t. freshly ground black pepper
• **Add a little grated or finely chopped onion for even more taste.

Steps

1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Line a rimmed baking sheet with foil; spray foil with non-stick cooking spray.
2. Combine the meat, egg, cream cheese, Parmesan cheese, bread crumbs, red pepper flakes, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, vegetable oil, salt, and pepper in a large bowl; mix well. Form mixture into 20 meatballs; place on the prepared pan.
3. Bake in center of the oven until juices run clear, about 17 - 18 minutes.
