Slow cooker meals are so easy to make, and this one is no different. The meat comes out tender and the flavor is amazing. Add more veggies if you would like for even more goodness.
1½ lb. flank steak
¼ c. cornstarch
2 T. olive oil
½ t. minced garlic
¾ c. soy sauce
¾ cups water
¾ c. brown sugar, packed
1 c. grated carrots or sliced match stick style
sliced green onions, for garnish
Cut flank steak into thin strips. Place meat strips In a ziplock bag; add cornstarch; shake to coat.
Place a slow cooker liner in the crock of the slow cooker for easy clean up. Add olive oil, minced garlic, soy sauce, water, brown sugar and carrots; carefully stir. Add coated flank steak strips; carefully stir until coated in the sauce.
Cook on High 2-3 hours or on Low 4-5 hours until fully cooked and tender.
Wash and slice green onions.
Serve over cooked rice with sauce from the slow cooker. Garnish with sliced green onions.
4-6 servings.
**You may want to increase the sauce ingredients so you have extra for servings.
