Description
In 20 minutes you can have one of the best and easiest pasta dishes that you have ever made. It's comforting and satisfying too. Serve with a side salad and garlic bread.
Ingredients
- 8 oz. spaghetti
- 2 large eggs
- 3/4 c. freshly grated Parmesan cheese, plus extra for garnish, if desired
- 4 slices bacon, diced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- kosher salt, to taste
- freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- 2 T. chopped fresh parsley
Steps
- In a large pot of well salted boiling water, cook pasta according to package instructions. Reserve 1/2 c. pasta water, then drain well.
- In a small bowl, whisk together eggs and grated cheese; set aside.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat; add bacon; cook until brown and crispy, about 6-8 minutes; reserve excess bacon grease/fat.
