Description
There is really no cooking in this great recipe. These tacos are great tasting and healthier than beef or pork tacos.
Ingredients
- 8 small flour tortillas
- 3 c. warmed cooked chicken, shredded or cut into bite sized pieces (left-over or rotisserie chicken is great to use)
- 1 c. diced tomatoes
- 1 c. shredded romaine lettuce
- ¾ c. cooked crumbled bacon (bottled/packaged works well)
- 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
- ¾ c. sour cream
- 1-2 T. Ranch dressing seasoning/powder from a packet (start with 1 T. then add more to taste)
Steps
- Mix together sour cream and Ranch seasoning/powder; set aside. You could substitute prepared Ranch dressing instead, if desired.
- Warm the tortillas as directed on the package.
- Evenly divide the lettuce and tomatoes between the tortillas; place chicken on top of each tortilla; top each with bacon and cheese. Drizzle with Ranch sauce/ prepared Ranch dressing. Serve.
