Description
These Turkey Pesto Tea Sandwiches are the perfect to serve for a luncheon, as an appetizer at a holiday party or to keep guests happy while preparing a big meal. They are simple to make and are festive looking.
Ingredients
- frozen Pepperidge Farm Puff Pastry sheet, thawed
- flour
- turkey, thinly sliced to fit the sandwiches
- Provolone cheese, sliced to fit the sandwiches or your favorite cheese
- basil pesto, home made or store bought
- cherry tomatoes, halved
- whole fresh basil leaves or a small cucumber slice, optional
Steps
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line baking/cookie sheets with parchment paper.
- Thaw each puff pastry sheet according to package directions (about 45 minutes).
- Unroll sheets onto a lightly floured work surface; use a pizza cutter to cut each pastry sheet into 36 small squares. (6 square across and 6 squares down)
