Use leftover or rotisserie chicken and rolls to make a great meal that is warm and satisfying. Red onion, Pepper Jack cheese, BBQ sauce, parsley and red onion complete the sliders. Serve with your favorite sides.
12 pack King's Hawaiian sweet rolls
3 c. cooked chicken, (leftover or rotisserie work great)
⅓ c. BBQ sauce
½ red onion, thinly sliced
6 slices Pepper Jack cheese
¼ c. parsley, finely chopped
2 T. melted butter
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Slice rolls across in half lengthwise, keeping them together and intact. Place the bottom half in a 9 × 13 baking dish/tray.
Spread chicken evenly across the rolls, followed by BBQ sauce, red onion, Pepper Jack cheese and parsley. Place the remaining half of the rolls on top. Brush with melted butter.
Bake 20 minutes.
Cut into individual sandwiches. Serve warm.
Makes 12 small sandwiches.
