Making ribs isn't difficult when making them in the crockpot and clean up is a snap if using a crockpot liner. They're just as tasty as the traditional cooking stye and just as good as the restaurant's.
non-stick cooking spray
3 lb. rack of pork baby back ribs
salt and pepper, to taste
18 oz. bottle sweet BBQ sauce
1/4 c. brown sugar, optional
12 oz. Coca-Cola
Line the crockpot with a crockpot liner; spray the inside of the liner with non-stick cooking spray.
Cut rib rack in half. Sprinkle ribs with salt and pepper; place in crockpot.
Mix BBQ sauce, brown sugar and Coco-Cola together in a bowl. Pour BBQ sauce/Coke mixture over ribs. Place lid on crockpot; cook on High for 4 hours, or on Low for 8 hours, or until done.
If possible, spoon sauce from crockpot over ribs 1-2 times while cooking, to keep meat extra moist.
Preheat oven to broiler temperature.
Transfer the ribs to an oven-safe pan.
Brush BBQ sauce/Coke/brown sugar mixture over the ribs under broiler until they become caramelized. Be sure to keep checking it. It doesn’t take long to do.
