You'll get a delicious, very flavorful, Asian inspired dinner with this garlic beef noodle bowl recipe. It's ready in a jiffy, so it's just the dinner that you need for those busy weeknight dinners.
8 oz. noodles (udon, lo mein, linguine, Chinese egg noodles, etc.)
1/4 c. soy sauce
2 T. brown sugar
1 t. sesame oil
2 T. olive oil
1 lb. skirt steak, cut into thin strips
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 t. freshly minced ginger
2 T. sliced green onions
2 t. sesame seeds
Cook noodles according to package directions.
In a small bowl, mix together brown sugar, soy sauce, and sesame oil; stir until well combined; set aside.
Heat olive oil over high heat in a large skillet. When hot, add beef strips; cook for 2-3 minutes, until beef is browned. Add garlic and ginger to the skillet; cook for 1 minute, until fragrant. Add soy sauce mixture; bring to a simmer; cook for 3-5 minutes, until sauce thickens slightly. Add cooked noodles to the pan; stir to coat.
Serve, sprinkled with green onions and sesame seeds.
