Everyone loves pizza and they will absolutely love these little individual pizzas even more. They make a great appetizer, party food, snack, lunch and even a kid friendly party activity and meal.
10 oz. refrigerated pizza crust dough
olive oil, for brushing pan and dough
garlic powder
Italian seasonings, optional
1/2 c. choice of sauce - pizza sauce, BBQ sauce, pesto sauce ( more if desired)
1/2 - 3/4 c. choice of toppings , like pepperoni, chopped BBQ chicken, red onion, veggies, etc.
1 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese or shredded cheese of choice ( more if desired)
garnish, choice of Parmesan cheese, red pepper flakes, fresh cilantro, etc.
Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Brush/spray 9 wells of a standard size muffin/cupcake pan with olive oil or non-stick cooking spray.
Roll out pizza crust dough to desired thickness. Use a large biscuit cutter or the rim of a jar to cut out 9 circles of dough; press into bottom and up sides of the muffin pan wells. Brush dough with olive oil; sprinkle with garlic powder and Italian seasonings. Spoon a scant tablespoon of sauce onto each dough cup; spread up the sides. Top with cheese and toppings of choice.
Bake 10-12 minutes, or until edges start to turn golden brown. Transfer to wire rack for 2-4 minutes before removing from pan.
Serve hot.
