Description
Make a yummy, easy taco bake with just a few ingredients. Use crescent rolls for the crust, ground beef or refried beans, chunky salsa, cheese and taco seasoning to create a fast meal that the whole family will love.
Ingredients
- 8 oz. can refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
- 1 lb. lean, at least 80% ground beef
- 3/4 c. chunky salsa
- 2 T. taco seasoning mix, from a 1 oz. package
- 1 c. (4 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese
- shredded lettuce and chopped tomato for garnish, if desired
Steps
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- Unroll crescent dough; separate into 8 triangles. Place in un-greased 9 inch square pan or 10 inch pie plate; press over bottom and up the sides to form a crust.
- In a 10 inch skillet, cook beef over medium heat, about 8 - 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thoroughly cooked; drain and discard grease. Stir in salsa and taco seasoning mix; simmer 5 minutes.
