Slow Cooker Kielbasa and BBQ Beans

Of course, this is the perfect meal to prepare on chilly or cold days, but it's great comfort food to make anytime of the year, so why wait? It's prepared with 3 different kinds of beans, BBQ and Worcestershire sauces, kielbasa sausage, molasses and bacon

Ingredients

2 - 15 oz. cans black beans, drained and rinsed
2 - 15.8 oz. cans Great Northern beans, drained and rinsed
15.25 oz. can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
1 onion, peeled and diced
½ c. BBQ sauce
¾ c. ketchup
1 T. Worcestershire sauce
1 T. mustard
1 t. chili powder
1 T. apple cider vinegar
½ c. maple syrup
¼ c. molasses
14.5 oz. can chicken stock/broth
½ lb. bacon, cooked, cut into bite size pieces
2 lb. Kielbasa sausage, cut into bite size pieces

Place a slow cooker liner in a large slow cooker for easy clean up.

Add all ingredients, except for the sausage, to the slow cooker; stir gently to combine; place kielbasa on top; cover.

Cook on Low 6 - 8 hours or on High 4 - 5 hours.*

Stir before serving.

12 servings.

*The low setting is recommended for this recipe because when cooked on high, the beans tend to get dried out. If you need to cook on high due to time constraints, check the beans occasionally and add more stock/broth or water, as necessary.
