Even the most inexperienced cook can make these easy pork chops. They will surely be a big hit and so you will want to add them to your recipe rotation. Serve with your favorite sides.
4 boneless pork chops, about 1 inch thick
⅓ c. grated Parmesan cheese
2-3 T. dry Italian bread crumbs
⅛ t. paprika
1 t. dried parsley
½ t. garlic powder
2 beaten eggs
2 T. olive oil
¼ t. black pepper
Preheat oven to 300 degrees.
Mix Parmesan cheese, bread crumbs, paprika, parsley and garlic powder; place on a platter.
Dredge pork chops first in the beaten eggs and then in the mixture, making sure mixture sticks; sear in a skillet of olive oil on medium-high heat. Sautee for 5 minutes on each side.
Place pork chops in a glass baking dish, uncovered; bake according to thickness. Chops about an inch thick should cook for about an hour. Regular thickness chops should cook at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
