Let's face it, there are times when you don't have time to cook or you just don't feel like cooking. This recipe takes care of that. Serve with a salad an garlic bread.
2 - 25 oz. jars marinara pasta sauce
2 - 30 oz. packages frozen cheese ravioli (doesn't need to be thawed or cooked first)
1 1/2 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese
1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
1/3 c. chopped fresh basil leaves, for garnish
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Spray a 9 × 13 baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
Spread half of 1 jar of marinara sauce evenly across the bottom of the prepared baking dish. Add 1 package of ravioli in an even layer over the sauce. Top with the remaining half jar of marinara sauce. Sprinkle 3/4 c. Mozzarella cheese and 1/4 c. Parmesan cheese over the sauce. Add another layer of sauce, ravioli, sauce, Mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses.
Spray a piece of aluminum foil with non-stick cooking spray; cover the dish with aluminum foil, sprayed side down.
Bake lasagna for 30 minutes; uncover; bake 15 minutes, or until cheese is melted and sauce is bubbly. Remove pan from oven; let sit for 5 minutes.
Garnish with chopped basil, if desired. Serve warm.
