Every once in awhile you just need to change up your favorite recipes. This creamy spaghetti does just that, and is so good that you just may replace your old recipe with this one because it is so good.
1 lb. spaghetti pasta, cooked al dente and drained
1 lb. ground beef, browned and drained
24 oz. marinara spaghetti sauce
8 oz. cream cheese, room temperature
1 c. sour cream
1 c. cottage or ricotta cheese
1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
salt and pepper, to taste
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Butter the bottom and sides of a 9 x 13 baking dish.
In a medium bowl, mix together the cooked ground beef and spaghetti sauce.
In a separate medium bowl, beat together the cream cheese, sour cream and cottage cheese until smooth, creamy and well combined. Season with salt and pepper, to taste.
Place half of the cooked spaghetti in the bottom of the prepared baking dish. Evenly spread half of the cream cheese mixture over the spaghetti. Evenly spread on half of the meat mixture. Repeat the layers another time; top with Cheddar cheese.
Bake for 20-30 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
