Spicy Szechuan Shrimp and Broccoli

Description

If you like spicy, you will love this dish. But no problem if you want to leave out the crushed red pepper flakes completely or use less. It will still be good. It's super simple to prepare and is ready in just 15 minutes. You can't beat that!

Ingredients

¼ c. water
1½ T. soy sauce
1½ T. Asian chili garlic sauce
1 T. freshly minced ginger
2-3 cloves garlic, crushed
½ t. crushed red pepper flakes
2 t. cornstarch
1 t. honey
1 T. vegetable or canola oil
2 c. frozen broccoli florets, thawed
1 lb. jumbo shrimp, peeled and deveined
¼ c. sliced green onions

In a small mixing bowl, whisk together water, soy sauce, chili garlic sauce, ginger, garlic, red pepper flakes, honey and cornstarch.

Heat a wok or large skillet over high heat; pour in oil; add broccoli and shrimp; pour on sauce.
Toss; cook shrimp until it turns pink. Turn off heat. Stir in green onions.

Serve hot.
