1 lb. boneless, skinless chicken strips
4-6 red potatoes, scrubbed, cut into wedges
1 lb. fresh or frozen green beans
1 small can sliced mushrooms, optional
1 packet Italian dry seasoning/salad dressing mix like Good Seasons
1 packet chicken gravy
1 c. water or chicken broth/stock
2 T. melted butter, optional
salt and pepper, to taste
Line the slow cooker with a slow cooker liner for easy clean up. Spray the inside of the liner with non-stick cooking spray.
Combine the water, melted butter and seasoning packets; set aside.
Place the chicken, potatoes, green beans and mushrooms in the slow cooker in layers; pour the seasoned liquid mixture over the top. Cover; cook on low for 6 - 7 hours.
Add salt and pepper, to taste.
Serve.
