In about 25 minutes you can have a yummy dinner using shredded chicken, four different cheeses, seasonings and herbs all rolled up and baked in big, flaky dinner rolls. They could also be served as an appetizer or lunch.
8 Big and Flaky Crescent Dinner Rolls from a 12 oz. tube
8 oz. softened cream cheese
1 ½ c. shredded Cheddar cheese
1 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese
2 c. cooked shredded chicken
¼ t. salt
¼ t. garlic powder, or to taste
¼ t. black pepper
2 T. butter, melted
3 T. grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 t. dry Italian seasoning mix
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a bowl, stir together softened cream cheese, shredded Cheddar and Mozzarella cheeses, salt, pepper and garlic powder; stir well to combine. Add shredded chicken; stir to combine everything evenly.
Unroll crescent rolls and separate them. Divide the filling equally between 8 rolls; roll up tightly; seal well; place them onto baking sheet leaving 2 inches apart.
Brush the rolls with melted butter; sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese; sprinkle a bit of dry Italian seasoning on top.
Bake 15-18 minutes until golden brown.
