Make chicken sliders for your family at home in your slow cooker. They are very tasty and have a wonderful slaw on top. Yum! For easier clean up, use a slow cooker bag to keep the crock clean.
Chicken:
6-8 skinless, boneless chicken thighs
½ c. onion, small chop
1 T. seasoned salt
2 t. liquid smoke
¼ c. cider vinegar
¼ c. tomato paste
¼ c. brown sugar
1 c. Redd’s Apple Ale
salt, to taste
Slaw:
½ green apple, grated
½ red apple, grated
1 carrot, grated
3 T. cider vinegar
⅓ c. mayonnaise
2 c. cabbage, thinly sliced or grated
1 t. salt
1 t. pepper

Place a slow cooker liner in the crock of the slow cooker for easy clean up.
Mix all chicken ingredients in the slow cooker; cook on High for 3 hours. Remove lid; continue to cook on High for 30 minutes, or until the liquid thickens; add salt, if necessary.
Combine all slaw ingredients in a bowl; stir.
Place chicken onto the slider buns; top with slaw.
Serve.
Makes 16-20 sliders.
