You don't have to go to a fancy restaurant to get lettuce wraps anymore. Make them at home with a few ingredients and in about 20 minutes you can serve them for an appetizer or as part of a light meal.
2 c. UNCLE BEN’S® READY RICE® Jasmine
1 lb. ground chicken
½ c. Asian stir-fry sauce
1 stalk celery, finely diced
4 green onions, diced
1 carrot, grated
5 oz. can water chestnuts, drained and diced
1 head romaine lettuce, carefully separated into individual leaves
Cook Jasmine rice according to package directions.
Brown ground chicken in a large non-stick skillet over medium heat, about 10 minutes; discard grease; return chicken to skillet. Add stir fry sauce, celery, green onions, carrot and water chestnuts; stir to combine over low heat until just heated through, about 5 minutes.
Fill each lettuce leaf with a scoop of jasmine rice; top with a scoop of chicken mixture.
