Make a fantastic main dish by spending very little time in the kitchen and then let the slow cooker take it from there. It's wonderfully seasoned and cooked in a great sauce. Serve it with your favorite sides.
3 - 4 lb. pork loin roast
2 T. dried oregano
2 T. dried basil
½ t. black pepper
¾ t. salt
2 T. garlic, minced
½ c. honey
2 T. olive oil
¼ c. soy sauce
⅔ c. grated Parmesan cheese
Place pork loin in crock of a slow cooker.
In a medium bowl, combine oregano, basil, pepper, salt, garlic, honey, soy sauce and Parmesan cheese; mix well; pour over the roast. Cover; cook on Low for 6 - 8 hours.
Remove the cooked pork loin roast from the slow cooker; reserve the liquid. Shred the meat with 2 forks.
Place the reserved cooking liquid in a saucepan; bring to a boil; reduce heat; simmer until reduced and thickened. Pour the sauce over the shredded meat.
Serve.
6-8 servings.
* To make clean up a snap, place a slow cooker liner in the base of the slow cooker before adding the ingredients.
